Uniform Guidelines

All MYS travel teams -- MYS and MPS -- are required to purchase the standard MYS Kit which includes the Adidas Tiro 11 uniform kit:

1. Tiro 11 Jersey
2. Tiro 11 Short
3. Tiro 11 Warm up Jacket
4. Estadio bag
5. Copa Sock

Optional team apparel and equipment includes practice jerseys (the "Avantis"), GK jerseys, and other equipment options for you to consider. These are optional items for your team and should be purchased at the discretion of your teams.

You must purchase these kits through our local Adidas distributor, PJs Sports in Falls Church (on Rt 7, near Trader Joe's). MYS has negotiated a 30% discount through Adidas and PJs for this merchandise. This price is only made possible by pooling the club's team-purchasing power.

When ordering your jerseys, we recommend calling Phil Galipo, Jr., the store manager (703-506-8009), and let him know you'll be stopping by the store to place your order. There is also a uniform order form that you should complete. Phil also has sample kits and additional sizing information if you need it.

Each team will have one contact person to handle all uniform orders. Team prices and orders will only be accepted from uniform coordinator. Payment for uniforms will be required when uniforms are picked up. No deposit is needed when uniforms are ordered. Sample uniforms are available at PJ's to insure correct sizes. Incorrect sizes ordered will be re-ordered at the team's expense.

Changes orders to initial orders may result in addition fees, when orders are placed they immediately go into processing at Adidas. Please make sure orders are completely correct before submitting. It is also recommended that teams order additional uniforms for guest players and additions to roster.

PJ's would rather have orders late than incorrect. Please make sure all sizes are correct and total roster is complete. If team is going to add additional players please include these in original order.
